We are looking for a talented, experienced, and driven Creative Director to join our team. Were seeking an individual who understands how to craft plot, character development, and pacing to evoke intense emotional experiences from players. The perfect Creative Director will be able to do this through an interactive gaming environment. This individual will report to the Producer and will be responsible for coordinating the creative efforts of the functional groups for an as-of-yet unannounced game.

The primary emphasis of this position is in organizing and guiding team efforts to fulfill the experiential vision of our game.

Your Focus
Coordinate and assist in the management of functional groups (Art, Design, Cinema, Animation and Programming) to achieve the projects vision.
Collaborate with the team and create a world with memorable characters and compelling storyline that can drive a trilogy.
Direct the pacing, mood and story telling to emotionally engage, frighten and challenge the player.
Integrate gameplay and story development to seamlessly maximize the players experience.
Direct the development of marketing and sales videos.
Champion the vision and set clear objectives and accomplish stated goals.
Maintain open communication with Producer, team leads, contributors and clients.

Skills/Requirements
What You Need to Succeed:

A passion for story telling via interactive entertainment and games with experience to match.
Have completed at least two software development projects from start to finish as a Senior Artist, Senior Designer, or a comparably creative role.
Intimate understanding of game product development cycles.
The ability to develop, communicate and execute on a vision for story and pacing within the game.
The ability to pre-visualize scenes through storyboards and animatics, directing artists, and then use the tools to implement these scenes.
Both a breadth and depth of knowledge of cinematic and storytelling technique.
Exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to listen, and the desire to work in a collaborative atmosphere.
A degree in cinematography or film, or previous experience in the film, television or interactive entertainment industry.
