Our client has a great opportunity for a Sr. Network Programmer in their Los Angeles, CA office. Job Qualifications:
- Experience with game network programming.
- Broad understanding of computer and game networking systems, including DNS, NAT, firewall, security methods, peer-to-peer and client server models.
- Strong C/C++ skills.
- Comfortable working within, and enhancing, an established code framework
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2 yrs programming experience in C / C++ is MANDATORY
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Able to focus and work without micro-management
- Must be legally authorized or able to obtain legal authorization to work in the US. We may consider H1-B transfer for qualified candidates.
- Have been worked at least two shipped high profile projects as programmer (internship is okay)
Preferred:
- X-Box Live or GameSpy matchmaking experience.
- Console programming experience.
- Experience with cross-platform development.
- Has a strong interest in, and knowledge of the game industry.
- Great written and oral communication skills.
